4th ESCAPE ROOMS: RIVER, WATER, AND ENVIRONMENTAL QUIZ

DURATION: BETWEEN OCTOBER 2024 TO NOVEMBER 2024

Following another success in the 3rd ESCAPE ROOMS: River, Water and Environmental Quiz, WWP wish to continue these initiatives for fourth time in the year 2024. Students will be tested on their knowledge about water and environmental knowledge via ‘Escape Room’ theme gamification method. This format will be utilising the ‘Genially’ platform to solve different puzzles in a stipulated time. There will be one preliminary and final rounds.

Based on request, a total of 24 teams registered schools that consist of two categories (Primary School – Age 10-12 years old, and Secondary School, Age 13-15 years old) will be targeted for this quiz. Top 3 teams (from two respective categories) from preliminary rounds will proceed to the final rounds whereby the top three teams (from two respective categories) will emerge as ‘Champion’, First Runner-up and Second Runner-up.

OBJECTIVE/AIM

The aim of using gamification method for online quiz is to boost critical thinking skills of student participants while at the same time promoting fun learning experiences.
