DURATION: February to December 2024

INTRODUCTION

As the core activity of Water Watch Penang, the programme seeks to continue the partnership with PBAPP to deliver periodic River and Water Education Awareness Programme to students from national schools as well as requested organisations in Penang. This year, WWP aims to extend its partnership to PBAPP’s Aqua Save Programme and PGC’s Green School Programme under the water theme.

Aqua Save programme by PBAPP is aimed to award industries and organisations which are committed in water conservation activities. WWP proposed to play a role as educators to educate the audience on water saving initiatives.

In addition, as recommended by PBAPP, this session will also include public community engagement situated in Seberang Perai Selatan. Overall, this programme will be conducted via school/office-based and field-based at either Botanical Gardens, Taman Jajar Sungai Ara or Cherok Tokun.
