River and Water Education Programme for Jit Sin Independent High School at Cherok Tok Kun – 15 March 2025

On March 15, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Water Watch Penang (WWP) successfully conducted an educational program at Cherok Tok Kun with Jit Sin Independent High School Environmental Club. The session engaged 29 students and 4 teachers in an interactive learning experience focused on river ecosystems and water conservation.

Water Watch Penang and Lam Research Forge Partnership for Water Conservation

Water Watch Penang signs the Letter of Understanding (LOU) with Lam Research as a monumental step towards improving water conservation practices. This Rainwater Harvesting Project, Projeck Air Hijau (Greenwater Project) is set to expand to 8 schools in Penang.

Leadership Training with AIESEC Taylor’s on River and Water Education

On the 7th of February, 2025, Water Watch Penang conducted an online training session with AIESEC Tayor’s University students. The online session was conducted by WWP’s executive manager, Dr Hong, who gave an informative presentation on understanding Malaysia’s water consumption and water scarcity issues, which are relevant today. A week after the online training, WWP had conducted a physical training of identifying and understanding water pollutants. This training was conducted at Bukit Kerinchi, Kuala Lumpur on 15th February, 2025.
