World Water Day 2011 in Taman Metropolitan Relau on 3 April 2011

World Water Day 2011 Penang State Celebrations will be held in Taman Metropolitan Relau on 3 April 2011. The planned activities are as follows: (1) We are planning to have a Acting/drama/ group to perform a River/Water Peformance. These are mostkly staff and students from USM but they are very professional and have performed extensively. (2) Some performance from school children before the Main Drama performance. (3) DJ Music all day long. (4) Water Painting Competition (5 Categories - PLEASE DOWNLOAD FORM & BROCHURE BELOW) & Prize Giving. (5) Speeches by Prof Dr Chan Ngai Weng, President of WWP followed by Speech of Ir Jaseni Maidinsa, General Manager of PBAPP Sdn Bhd, and finally followed by Speech of the Honourable Penang Chief Minister Tuan Lim Guan Eng. (6) Exhibitors - WWP, PBA, MNS, USM, FOBG, IWK, SPAN, JPS, DOE, TAIGATE Water Co, Plumber Co selling Water Saving equipment, WWF Malaysia, Friends of Ulu Muda II, Friends of Tasik Harapan. (7) Some Water Guessing Games (does not involve getting into lake) to keep children/students occupied. (8) Many other interesting programmes are lined up. All Penangites and Visitors are welcome. The event will start at 7.00am with the water painting competition and ends around 5.00pm. Lots of free goodies to be given out & lots of attractive prizes to be won.
