World Water Day 2004

“World Water Day 2004 Celebrations” was organized by WWP together with PBAPP Sdn Bhd on 25 April 2004, held in Penang Botanic Gardens. Total number of schools involved is 50, total number of students involved is more than 300 and total number of teachers involved is 50. Estimated total number of accompanying parents is more than 300 and total number of other public people is more than 200. YAB Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, Chief Minister of Penang, Dato’ Koay Kar Hua, YB Teng Chang Yeow, Dato Ir Liew Chook San and other PBAPP Sdn Bhd officers graced the event. Activities include opening ceremony and declaration of world water day by YAB, water quizzes, water painting competitions, prize giving. Water exhibitions and water guessing and visits to the Waterfall Treatment Plant.
